i connected mine just a meter away from the main cb.  curious lang, paano kung sa pinakamalayong outlet i-plug in ang unit?  will it work?  diminished effect?

kapatid, THEORETICALLY there should be a slightly diminished effect if you chose the farthest socket since THEORETICALLY, the device "fixes" the electric currents from meralco before it enters the appliances.  HOWEVER, no one has reported diminished effects yet.  so we are crossing our fingers that it wont ever happen.  para lahat masaya.   Grin

The reason why I hooked it up to the main circuit breaker is that para lahat na kumain ng kuryente masagap nya lahat. I hope I did the right thing.

aahh.  pero sir mario, you made a NEW socket right na nasa circuit breaker mismo?  you did not directly hook it to the circuit breaker as in tinanggal nyo ang plug and re-wired it?

Parang ganon na nga. I wired an outlet directly to the main breaker and plugged the gadget to it.

Parang ganon na nga.

if you made a NEW socket near the breaker, then that's okay.

PhP14,500 is the price in the u.s. (converted to peso plus shipment and tax) BUT I am selling it at a discounted price of PhP9,000 only.

30,000w to 50,000w.

I dont think I may give terms yet.  Business in this particular field has just started and all my money is out.  Cant really give terms for now.  Maybe when business has picked up already.  Franchise for distributorship was kinda costly.  Hope you guys understand.

My electric bill went down from a high of 9k about 3 years ago to about 5k recently, without buying this stuff. But i would like to hear from our members if there is indeed any savings in electric bill using this device.

Tanungin nyo si Bishop dahil parang kumuha yata sya. As for me I still cannot be a 100% certain dahil irregular ang gamit ko ng kuryente recently. Although I have noticed a slight decrease in my electric consumption the other month.

In my case when the meter reading was compared between a month with powersaver and without, the there was only 2 kw-hr difference which is really nothing.  However, I cannot really say that it did not worked nor it did worked.  The power utilization in my case is fluctuating as it is dependent on the business workload.  Hence, office and production working hours varies and equipment utilization as well.

Anyway, I emailed my meralco bills to ironfist and he said that he will get his "guys" to analyze it.  haven't heard from him since.

Just a thought nosmanta .... ever considered taking a peek on what's inside?  Grin

No kidding bishop.

Here are the factors that i think contributed to the decrease in electric consumption:

1. We have no helpers. So that means, when we leave the house, the only thing consuming electricity is the ref. No consumption for half day. When me and my little boy arrive home, the only electric consumptions are coming from the laptop, the tv and the electric fan. Occasionally, we turn on the aircon.

2. We unplug all appliances, even the wifi router, in the evening before we retire.

3. Since we have no helpers, we eat dinner early. It is only then that i turn on all lights in the dining room. The dining lamps (3 cfc @11 watts each) , plus 4 corner lights (16 cfc@9 watts each). Sometimes i turn on the living room lights plus another lamp. I like eating in a well lighted place. All lights are turned on for about 30 minutes, after which, only the dining lamps are left turned on.

4. Since no helper, the kitchen lights are only turned on occasionally when we need something. But mostly, we turn them off when not in use.

5. The only major consumer is the aircon. We turn it on at around 8pm to 6 am. Half of the thermostat. So lower consumption.

6. When we retire, the only lights are the stair light (5watts, cfc) and the porch light (9 watts, cfc).

7. The labandera comes here 2x a week. Once a week ironing. We have a gas dryer in which you can just fold the clothes after drying. The only things need ironing are uniforms, office clothes, and casual attire. Kung nandito labandera at sinipag, 2x nagplaplantsa at lahat pinaplantsa.

8. I have a big washing machine, a gas dryer, and a water heater all connected to a separate kuntador (yes, i have two which is allowed by meralco if you have two kitchens) Electric bill is constant there at 1500.

9. I do the cleaning. I use the vacuum cleaner (1500 watts) maybe 3 to 4x a weeks. Mas gusto ko ako naglilinis kasi mas malinis sa paningin ko Grin. I dont know how much it contributes to the electric meter.

10. I no longer use my electric power washer. Plain garden hose to clean the cars.

11. I have only 1 tv. CRT pa. But used only by my little boy watching dvd but not much. Mostly used in the evening for watching news. Around maximum 2 hours usage.

12. Kung may katulong ata, wala naman ata sila pakialam kung nakabukas ilaw o hindi. Ngayon wala akong katulong, walang excess usage.

13. My only luho is my hometheater. I use every weekend. Maybe maximum of 4 movies. Sometimes none at all.

14. I have no more desktop and crt monitor. Laptop na lang which consumes very minimal.

Basically, kung hindi ginagamit, pinapatay at tinatanggap sa plug.

Thats all folks. So far yun lang naaalala ko.
