Hi Nosmanta!
Haven't done the engine swap yet. The mechanic is still finishing his racing car. Which is fine by me, at least when he start working with the Manta, full focus na siya.
Thanks for the suggestions. We "might" add stiffeners and work on the seams selectively. We will add a roll cage and considering the design. Tranny we will replace but may keep the differential for the meantime. Same with the brakes .... we'll see how everything works and make the mods as we go along.
I just bought a FMIC, boost regulator and a pair of old school recaro seats. I have a pair of steering wheels also ... one for racing and another for show.

I have not ordered the tail and head lights yet as snow is still heavy in the US. I'm afraid, it will be lost in courier transit to my sis house. Will wait until the weather gets better.
I'm having a hard time finding proper rims for the manta. There was a thread by manta-ray I believe, he mentioned PCD 100, 20 offset and 13 inches x max of 7 inches to avoid body works. Are those accurate? Bka mali ako

I wanted to use 14" x7 inches rims but it's not easy to find. Found a compomotive but pcd 114.
cheers!
Bishop!
Have you started on the engine swap already? I suggest you strenghten the body by stitching up the seams with a mig welder. Also I suggest you replace the whole drivetrain (tranny and diff) and all suspension bushes and steering components that are worn out. I would advise also installing at least a 6 point roll cage and harness just to be safe. Hehehe! And the brakes too!!! What are your plans for the brakes? Check this out:
